How will you connect?
First, connect your player’s audio cable to your speakers or amplifier.
The quickest connection
Plug in. Music on.
Connect the Ethernet cable
Plug one end into your player’s LAN / Ethernet port and the other into an available port on your router or network switch.
Connect the power
Use the power adapter supplied with your player. Turn on your speakers or amplifier and select the input connected to Jukeboxy.
Enjoy your music
Allow a few minutes for the player to start and connect. Music starts automatically.
That’s it. You’re connected.
No TV, mouse or sign-in needed. Keep your player connected to power and the internet.
A little setup. A lot of music.
Connect with your phone
Have your business Wi-Fi password and the Jukeboxy setup card from your box nearby.
Keep this guide open while you switch Wi-Fi networks. Your player’s setup network has no internet — that’s normal.
Which phone are you using?
Power up your player
Connect the supplied power adapter. Leave Ethernet unplugged and wait about 2–3 minutes for the setup Wi-Fi to appear.
Join your player’s setup Wi-Fi
On your iPhone, open Settings → Wi-Fi.
Choose the Jukeboxy-… network printed on your setup card and enter the setup password from that card. You can also scan the card’s Wi-Fi QR code.

If your phone warns that there is no internet, stay connected to this network.
Open the Wi-Fi setup page
A Jukeboxy setup page may open automatically. If it doesn’t, open this address in your phone’s browser:
http://jukeboxy.local:8080/
Open player setup ↗This link works only while your phone is connected to the player’s setup Wi-Fi. Type the full address, including http://, if your browser searches instead.
Choose your business Wi-Fi
Select your business network, enter its password and tap Connect. This is your business Wi-Fi password, not the setup password on the card.

The setup network disconnects while your player joins your business network. Let your phone reconnect to its usual Wi-Fi, then allow a few minutes for music to start.
Your Wi-Fi is remembered.
Your player reconnects automatically when it starts again. Keep the setup card for a future Wi-Fi change.
Keep this page open, or save a screenshot of these steps before switching Wi-Fi.
We’re here to help
No music yet?
Check power, cables and volume
Make sure the player and amplifier are powered on, the audio cable is firmly connected, and the amplifier is set to the correct input. Raise the volume gradually and check that mute is off. If you just connected the player, allow a few minutes to start.
Could this be a scheduled quiet period?
Your music schedule may include times with no music. During those periods, silence is expected. Check your Jukeboxy schedule or ask the person who manages music for your business.
I can’t see the Jukeboxy setup network
Move close to the player, unplug Ethernet and wait about 2–3 minutes. Check the exact network name on your setup card. A player already connected to a working Wi-Fi network does not normally open its setup network. Contact us if you need help changing networks.
The Wi-Fi setup page won’t open
Check that your phone is still connected to the Jukeboxy network, even if it says “No internet.” Open http://jukeboxy.local:8080/ in the browser. If a VPN is active, pause it during setup. If the name does not resolve, open the connected network’s details, find Router (iPhone) or Gateway (Android), then enter http:// followed by that address and :8080/.
My business Wi-Fi isn’t listed, or won’t connect
Check the network name and password. If you use “Rescan networks,” the setup network may briefly disconnect; join it again to see the updated list. If connection fails, wait for the Jukeboxy setup network to return and retry. Networks that need a web sign-in or business username may need help from your IT team; Ethernet is another option.
I don’t have a setup card
Contact Jukeboxy support with the serial number printed on your device. We can help you find its setup network and password.
Still need a hand?
Have the serial number on your player ready.
